Episode 6: Nourishing Foods for our Children
On today’s show we talk about Nourishing Diets for the optimal growth and development of our children.
Sally Fallon Morell is best known as the author of Nourishing Traditions and the Founding President of the The Weston A. Price Foundation. Sally advocates for the consumption of nutrient dense foods and not falling prey to fads and marketing around various food groups. She claims that animal fats and cholesterol are not villains but vital factors in the diet, necessary for normal growth, proper function of the brain and nervous system, protection from disease and optimum energy levels.
Sally is also the founder of A Campaign for Real Milk (realmilk.com), which has as its goal universal access to clean raw milk from pasture-fed animals.
